After almost 1,5 year in making this March is my new collection of noises and ambients connected in loose concept called “Immigrant Ghosts” out on Jamendo. It’s, again, like previous “Pagans” and “Game of Life” based on my life story and philosophy. This time is about place we call home, unplanned travels and illusions – When I left my hometown in flames I said “i am back in three months”. Now it’s 19 Years since I live somewhere else. Most of all it’s about our place in the world and our relation to reality of it. All songs are Made after “Pagans” – from 2009 – 2011.
In making of “ghosts” I, again, got help from Mary Cross and Ivan1984. Mary and Ivan are like on “Pagans” not just voices but also writers of some lyrics and important creative presence on album. This time you also have opportunity to hear not just new voices such Daisylis on Cvijaxo albums but for maybe the first time on Jamendo actually hear voices and spoken words or/and stories from Jamendians whose beautiful instrumentals many of us enjojed. I have honor to include voices from CÅ’DES Pierre-Marie, .Doc, Lena Selyanina, KraftiM and of course daisylis.
Pagans album is now out in Musictrade distribution with new mastering (by .doc), cover art, in mp3 and flac 24 bit loseless encoding and can be downloaded on, among others, these spaces:
Last year I come out with call to collaboration mail for my album Immigrant Ghosts. Idea is that Jamaendians say “What I Am Doing Here”, “Home”, or “Home is where you heart is”. OR say a pair sentences on theme rootless and what is home? on their native language. I got beautiful samples from my Jamendo friends on French, Dutch, Russian, English, Finnish and Polish. I would like to get more languages (especially from Africa and Asia). So go ahead. Just turn on your laptops and say something. Quality of sample is not that important. This is my first blog ever! So I’m sorry if it’s messy and confused. Idea with this page is to share my thoughts about my and others work and to inform my friends about news with Cvijaxo.
And it’s reflection of my life last 6 months. It talks about beliefs and knowledge and it’s my first album – length upload on Jamendo. Pagans is much more colaboration then Game of Life was. Ivan is present not as voice but as creative force behind good part of albums concept, likewise Mary which is wind of refreshement and much more than voice too.
